Download
Packages, and what you need to run them
Debian packages for the coordinator and the node agent, plus an offline
bundle containing both and the documents.
Check what you downloaded, before you install it
Every release carries a SHA256SUMS file. These links always
point at the newest release and never change between versions.

sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS
sudo apt install ./diffuse-coordinator_amd64.deb
SHA256SUMS covers exactly the three files above. Fetch only
the ones you need and sha256sum --ignore-missing -c SHA256SUMS
checks those.
Requirement
glibc 2.36
The supported platform
Debian 12 and 13, Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, and any 64-bit Linux that
meets that floor. No Python is required: the node
agent carries its own interpreter, so it installs on a machine that
has none. Every release is installed on all four and serves a model
there.
Those machines also need a CPU with AVX2, which means
Intel Haswell (2013) or AMD Excavator (2015) and newer. Some Pentium
and Celeron parts sold long after that have it switched off; the
package refuses to install on them and says which instruction is
missing.
Requirement
4 GB
Memory, not a card
A quantised model of that size runs on an ordinary workstation. A GPU
makes generation faster and lets one machine hold more; it is not
required.
Requirement
1
A licence file
Issued to your organisation and installed with one command. Trials are
thirty days on three machines, running exactly what a paying customer
runs.
Installing
Two commands on the coordinator, two on each machine that computes. No
script to run, nothing fetched at install, and nothing downloaded when a
node is given a model.

RPM packages for RHEL and SUSE are a separate piece of work and are
not published yet. Saying so is more useful than a page implying they
exist.
